Check out all the ways you can get involved at IDEA
Attend a Ready Stage Orientation, which will give you insight into IDEA and our process.
To become an advisor, you can apply anytime on our website.
Applications for the Management Team open up around a month or two before the upcoming semester.
Even if you have a thoroughly thought out business plan or barely the scrapings of an idea, you are welcome to join the IDEA Venture Acceleration Process. However, you must have some connection with Northeastern University to take advantage of our program, such as being a student, an alumni, a faculty member, or a staff member.
The second way to get involved is to sign up as an IDEA Advisor. The ideal candidate for an Advisor is someone who has had experience with entrepreneurship, has a minimum of 1-2 years work experience, and is passionate about giving back to the Northeastern University community. As an advisor, you get to provide advice and guidance to ventures, as well as interact with amazing people.
The IDEA Student Management Team is led by Northeastern University students from across academic disciplines and varying walks of life. They are passionate about helping ventures succeed and growing the Idea program to reach its full potential.
